Suspending or Unsuspending Domain Names in Bulk

As a Cibol Web Solutions Reseller, you may use the Bulk Suspension interface to Suspend multiple domain names belonging to your Sub-Resellers and/or Customers. Typically, you may need to Suspend domain names in response to abuse complaints or when you have not received payment towards domain name registration/renewal/transfer services, etc..

Note
  • Suspending a domain name would result in disruption of all services associated with a domain name such web hosting, email hosting, etc..

  • Cibol Web Solutions does not support the Bulk Suspension / Unsuspension feature for domain names under the following TLDs (extensions):

    • Due to restrictions imposed by the Registry Operator:

      • .EU

      • .UK

      • .CA

    • Due to other restrictions:

      • .NZ

      • .ASIA

      • .CO

  • The Contact Details and Name Servers of such a domain name can not be modified in this state.

  • A Transfer [Away] Request for this domain name to another Registrar will fail at the Registry itself and will not be allowed.

  • Domain name Renewal and Deletion would not be possible.

  • An (Internal) Move/Push/Transfer of this domain name to another Customer Account would not be possible in this state.
  • A domain name Suspended by you, can only be Unsuspended by you or Cibol Web Solutions.

  • You will not be able to Unsuspend a domain name Suspended by Cibol Web Solutions.

  • A Customer can not Unsuspend a domain name under any circumstance.

To Suspend / Unsuspend Domain Names in Bulk

  1. Login to your Reseller Control Panel. 1

  2. In the Menu, go to Products -> Domain Registration -> Bulk Actions and then click Bulk Suspend/Unsuspend.

  3. Mention the following details and click either Suspend Orders or Unsuspend Orders as per the task at hand:

    • Suspend/Unsuspend Orders By: Select either Order Id, Domain Name, Reseller Id or Customer Id. Selecting Reseller Id or Customer Id allows you to Suspend/Unsuspend all domain names under the specified Sub-Reseller(s)/Customer(s).

    • Ids/Domain Names: Depending upon your choice in the above selection, you need to specify their details here.

    • Reason for Order Suspension: You should specify the exact reason due to which you are suspending these Orders, so that the Sub-Reseller/Customer may view the same from their Control Panel. The reason is visible to only your immediate Sub-Reseller/Customer.

    • Remove all suspension locks set by Sub-Resellers: Select this checkbox if while Unsuspending domain names, you also wish to remove any/all Suspension(s) placed by your Sub-Resellers on these domain names.

Note

At any point of time, you can add upto 2 (two) Bulk actions/requests. This implies that you would not be able to add another Bulk Registration / Renewal / Transfer / Modification / Lock or Unlock / Suspend or Unsuspend / Privacy Protection action/request, if 2 (two) Bulk Actions are already running. You will encounter the below error message in case you try to do so:

Attention

You already have the maximum allowed number of Bulk Operations running. Please wait for at least one to complete before starting another.

You will be able to add another Bulk request once one of the earlier requests has been processed completely.
